Science

Students are encouraged to participate in the University of NSW Science Competition as well as the ANU Mini Degree. In addition to this, students can participate in the science engineering challenge, Dr Dean Hutton presentations and excursions to Questacon and The Green Machine. Integrated units such as incorporating angles, dissection and comparisions are a part of the science curriculum.

Science - Junior

Junior science is based on discovery learning and practical application of scientific knowledge. In years 7 & 8 students study a variety of areas in science, there is a strong focus on establishing basic skills such as observation, safety, equipment and the scientific method.
