Senior Netball Gala Day

On Tuesday August 26th our year 9/10 netball team competed in the Southside Senior Netball Gala Day. The girls played with positivity and represented Lanyon with pride.
Senior Soccer Carnival

On Tuesday 18th August our year 9/10 soccer team competed at the Southside Senior Soccer Carnival. The students represented the school with respect and pride. Despite very cold conditions, and adverse playing conditions all students played to their capability and should feel a sense of accomplishment for what they achieved. We should be very proud of this group of students!

On Wednesday 12th August our year 7/8 boys competed in the Southside Soccer Carnival. They had 3 wins and a draw out of 6 games! What a great effort, well done boys.

On Tuesday August 4th we were lucky enough to have Jonny Shannon speak to each year group on a variety of Pastoral Care topics, including positive friendships & relationships, sex ed, cyber bullying, grit, positive psychology & mental health. This is the 2nd year we have hosted Jonny & our students (& staff) love his messages.

On Tuesday August 4th, our year 7/8 girls netball team competed at the Southside netball carnival. The team played 8 games throughout the day, winning two of them! An awesome effort from our girls, especially with no subs. The team displayed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork, and we couldn't be prouder. Well done girls!
